FREE Trader Positioning Master Class
We have been posting CMR COT charts for five years and every week we get questions about what they mean, who are the Commercials, why should I care if Speculators are long or short… and so on. If you asked those questions or are still not sure why trader positioning is the ultimate discounting mechanism, then you should join us on Saturday, August 1st, at 1130am EST for our first free webinar where we will teach you everything we know about trader positioning, how to read CMR COT charts and answer questions about the CMR Process.
CMR Presents - Trader Positioning Master Class
Saturday - August 1, 2026
1130am - 1230am followed by Q&A
Agenda
Introduction to the COT Report
Breakdown of Legacy, Disaggregated and Traders in Financial Futures Reports
Commercials versus Speculators
Power of Net Positioning Analysis
How CMR Uses The COT and Identifies Max Crowded Markets
This will be a live virtual event on Zoom. We paid for the premium Webinar package so we can invite more people and we expect the webinar to reach capacity. Good news is Substack subscribers get the invite one day ahead before we post the links on X and YouTube. You have a 24 hour head start to secure your spot and attend a master class on trader positioning. The webinar will be hosted by the person (not Jason) who created the CMR COT charts and publishes all the education guides for CMR. He is also CMR’s first employee and has been there since day 1.
Thanks,
CMR Team

Helllooo Mr Jason, just wondering if this be available via a replay (to those of us that signed up) living overseas, since the time can be a real challenge.
Also if I can put forward a question now for the webinar?
Having been a subscriber in the past I wondering if on the full membership you can "alert" overseas people to "news failures" in your service going forward?
Reason why is since we get different news to start with, and at odd hours, it makes it really hard to know when the positioning we can see from your charts also lines up with a news failure.
Obviously it then becomes our decision what we do with that "alert" but it'd give us the missing link to your work. I know you don't want an "alert service" but this is a totally different alert to the other crap out there, as you know.
